Together with the help of all those who donated items, we were able to assemble 168 Christmas Gift Bags for Building Hope's Annual Christmas Dinner. These bags were full of goodies such as hot chocolate packets, hand warmers, candy, tea and other items. Thank you for all who donated and all who helped assemble!
For the month of November, we will be focusing across our district on the Nazarene Compassionate Ministries in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. We have a number of local ministries doing an incredible work across our district. Please visit the Missions Table outside of the worship center to grab a prayer request quilt piece, and consider giving a financial gift to support one or more of these ministries. (Just mark your donation as CWD Compassion and give in your regular way)

When we replaced our toilets throughout the church this past year, we thought it would be a great way to also support healthy hygiene around the world! We have 13 toilets in the church and so we have twinned all 13 of them with a latrine in a developing country around the world. Check the plaque above the toilet here at Southside to see where we are twinned!
Each year at our Christmas Eve service we receive an offering to support a Nazarene ministry around the world. For the past few years, we have used the monies raised for this offering to purchase items from the Nazarene Compassionate Ministry Gift Catalog. These items range from goats and chickens to bicycles for pastors, education courses and books, sewing machines for women to start a business and much more. We invite you to donate this year. If you would like more information check out the NCM website here.
